Congratulations. Fun A Days of January are complete. If you keep making awesome stuff that is up to you. The important thing is that we are all getting together on Friday February 24th to party and show off our work. The show is at The Bradshaw Art Space in DJCAD (13 Perth Road) from 5-7. Afterwards folks can head across the street to the Art Bar for more drinks and celebration.

The date I need to have your work for installation is Tuesday February 21st. I will be at the Bradshaw Art Space to collect your work from 10-12. If that time period will not work for you, email me and we can make other arrangements. The Date to pick up your work will be Tuesday March 6th. the time period will also be from 10-12, email me if you need other arrangements.

If people want to help with flyering, set up, take down, or day of show activities let me know.

And seriously feel good about any and all you have accomplished this Fun A Day.

OMG OMG! I am finally caught up! Here are all of my current tracks / loops for the month. Feel free to jump forward, because they definitely get better towards the end of the month. There are a few days where I just mention the updates that I made to the software, but for the most part they are actually tunes. And I think all but one are made on the software that I wrote as well, which is pretty nice. It is amazing the limitations and bugs that you will put up with when you build something for yourself.

The exhibition opening will be Friday February 24th 5-7pm

I will have more details coming soon – I just wanted to give you enough notice so you can attend the festivities. The location is the Bradshaw Art Space, located in Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (13 Perth Road) and will be Friday February 24th from 5-7. I will post information about the drop off times soon. I will also be making posters. If you want to be listed as a participant email me your name and your project. There is also room for performances and I will be procuring a projector to screen any video work or photo slide shows.

Keep up the fun - and don’t worry if you miss a day or two, no one is perfect – get back on the horse. I can’t wait to see you all in February.

Daily trips to the wood are nourishing in all manner of ways. Not least the infusion of January light and air. The woodland object mobile is growing magical. I’ll post an image soon.

Did some more work on the software this weekend, none of which made it into this little loop. It is all a bit rugged and needs more work before it can be useful for actual music. One of the loops from this weekend has it, but I am not going to post it because it is too insane. Thanks for east coast rail wi-fi that allowed me to download the bass samples.

Unrelated, but I did it this weekend. May do more 3d modeling at some point for this project.
